Characteristics
Benzydamine HCL is the derivative of Benzydamine. It is of Synthetic origin and belongs to Dimethylpropylamine. It belongs to Cyclo-oxygenase inhibitor pharmacological group on the basis of mechanism of action and also classified in Analgesics and Anti-inflammatory Agents pharmacological group.The Molecular Weight of Benzydamine is 309.41.
Contraindications
Benzydamine is contraindicated in conditions like Agitation.
Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Benzydamine are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Nausea, Skin rashes, Visual disorders, Epigastric discomfort, Redness, Burning, Numbness.
Indications
Benzydamine is primarily indicated in conditions like Inflammation, Oedema in dentistry, Post operative oedema, Post-traumatic oedema, Respiratory tract inflammation, Urogenital tract inflammation.
