Gramicidin

Gramicidin is antimicrobialcyclic palypetide. Gramicidin is used as local application to skin, wounds, burns and nose and mouth infections. & frequently used with a corticosteroid.

Characteristics

Contraindications
Gramicidin is contraindicated in conditions like Damage skin.
Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Gramicidin are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Irritation.
Indications
Gramicidin is primarily indicated in conditions like Otitis externa, Superficial infections.
