Contraindications

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Dithranol, which give rise to further complications include Severe inflammation, Irritation, Contact dermatitis.The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Dithranol are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Hair loss, Local burning, Purple brown staining of skin, Sensation of warmth, Staining of skin & clothes.

Warnings
Dithranol should not be used for acute psoriasis or on inflamed skin. Its use on face, skin flexures and genitals should be avoided. Avoid use hear eyes and sensitive areas of skin.
