Desvenlafaxine, also known as O-desmethylvenlafaxine, is an antidepressant of the serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor .Desvenlafaxine is a synthetic form of the major active metabolite of venlafaxine.

Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Desvenlafaxine are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Nausea, Anxiety, Constipation, Insomnia, Somnolence, Decreased appetite, Hyperhidrosis, dizziness, male sexual function disorders, decreased appetite.
Indications
Desvenlafaxine is primarily indicated in conditions like Major Depressive Disorder.
