Effects
Dehydroemetine (HCl) produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Myocarditis. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Dehydroemetine (HCl) therapy.The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Dehydroemetine (HCl) include Myocardial toxicity.The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Dehydroemetine (HCl) are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Local pain, Giddiness, ECG changes, Pain at injection site.
Indications
Dehydroemetine (HCl) is primarily indicated in conditions like Amoebic dysentry, Amoebic granulomata, Hepatic amoebiasis, Skin lesions.
