Lorcainide

Lorcainide is a class Ic antiarrhythmic that has been used for the management of ventricular and supraventricular arrhythmias. It has been given by mouth and by intravenous infusion as the hydrochloride.

Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Lorcainide are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Vomiting, Sleep disturbance, Paresthesias, Transient hypotension, Warmth sensation.

Lorcainide is primarily indicated in conditions like Ventricular arrhythmias.
