is the derivative of Cerivastatin Sodium. It is of Synthetic origin and belongs to Anti-hyperlipidimic. It belongs to dyslipidaemic agent pharmacological group on the basis of mechanism of action. The Molecular Weight of Cerivastatin Sodium is 481.50.
Contraindications
Cerivastatin Sodium is contraindicated in conditions like Acute liver disease,Porphyria.
Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Cerivastatin Sodium are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Headache, Insomnia, Skin rashes, Blurred vision, Dysgeusia, Skin rashes, dizziness.
Indications
Cerivastatin Sodium is primarily indicated in conditions like Hyperlipoproteinaemia, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Hypercholesterolaemia.

Warnings
It should be avoided during pregnancy since there is a possibility that it could interfere with fetal sterol synthesis. It should be discontinued if marked or persistant increases in serum aminotransferase or creatine-phosphokinase concentrations occur.It shouls not be given in severe renal impairement and liver function should be monitored
