Valdecoxib

A diaryl-substituted isoxazole (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), it is used for symptomatic relief of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and dysmenorrhea. It has no effect on platelet aggregation and bleeding time.

The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Valdecoxib are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Palpitation, Dry mouth, Confusion, Dysphonia, Weight gain, Cough, StomatitisX, Syncope, Cerebrovascular disorders, Hypertonia, Intestinal obstruction, Belching, Taste disturbanceX, Hypoesthesia.
Indications
Valdecoxib is primarily indicated in conditions like Dysmenorrhoea, Muscle relaxation (rapid onset, short duration).
