Etoricoxib

Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs). Etoricoxib is a selective inhibitor of cyclo-oxygenase-2 and is used for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and acute gout.

Contraindications
Etoricoxib is contraindicated in conditions like Uncontrolled hypertension.
Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Etoricoxib are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Vertigo, Headache, Drowsiness, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Fever, Depression, Hypersensitivity, Angioedema, GI bleeding, Peptic ulteration.
Indications
Etoricoxib is primarily indicated in conditions like Acute gout, Ankylosing spondylitis, Muscle relaxation (rapid onset, short duration), Rheumatic arthritis.

Risks
