Zinc Chloride

Zinc chloride is a powder used topically as an astringent and desensitizer (the hard portion of the tooth) for dentin. It is used topically as a caustic antiseptic, and deodorant. In high concentration it is caustic, and has been used as a caustic agent to treat corns, calluses, and warts.
