Histidine

Histidine is a heterocyclic aminoacid which is essential for infant growth and for some other groups, such as patients with uraemia. Histidine is given as a dietary supplement and also is used in the treatment of gastric hyperacidity when given in combination with other agents.

Contraindications

Indications
Histidine is primarily indicated in conditions like Premedication before surgery, Uremia.
