Insulin Aspart is primarily indicated in conditions like Diabetes mellitus.
Interactions
Insulin Aspart is known to interact with other drugs, the details of drug interactions is as follows:DrugDetailsSeverityOnsetManagementDiazoxideDiazoxide antagonises hypoglycaemic effect of antidiabetics (insulin).Metformin (HCl)Metformin potentiate the hypoglycemic effect of insulin by increasing cellular mechanism controlled by insulin.ModerateClosely monitor the development of hypoglycaemia in patient. These interactions are sometimes beneficial and sometimes may pose threats to life. Always consult your physician for the change of dose regimen or an alternative drug of choice that may strictly be required.
Interfrence
Monitoring of blood and urine glucose

Warnings
The human insulin analogues, insulin lispro and insulin aspart, have a faster onset of action and shorter duration of action than soluble insulin; as a result, compared to soluble insulin, fasting and preprandial blood-glucose concentration is a little higher, postprandial blood-glucose concentration is a little lower, and hypoglycaemia occurs slightly less frequently. Insulin aspart should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment (May need dose reduction).
