Cefdinir is third-generation oral cephalosporin antibiotic. The actions and uses are similar to cefixime, but more active in vitro against Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis than cefixime.

Cefdinir is primarily indicated in conditions like Chronic bronchitis, Otitis media, Pharyngitis, Pneumonia, Sinusitis, Skin infections, Tonsillitis.
