Ferric Choline Citrate

Ferrocholinate is a chelate prepared by reacting equimolar quantities of freshly precipitated ferric hydroxide with choline dihydrogen citrate. It is given by mouth as a source of iron for iron-deficiency anaemia.

Contraindications
