Characteristics
D-Pantothenol also known as Pantothenol, Pantothenol, Pantothenol, Pantothenol. . It is of Synthetic origin and belongs to Pantothenic acid. It belongs to GI Agent, Stimulant pharmacological group.The Molecular Weight of D-Pantothenol is 205.30. Its pKa is 13.033.
Contraindications
D-Pantothenol is contraindicated in conditions like Haemophilia,Ileus.
Effects
The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of D-Pantothenol include Allergic skin reactions.The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by D-Pantothenol are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Itching, Allergic skin reactions, Difficulty breathing.
Indications
D-Pantothenol is primarily indicated in conditions like Cervical errosions, Fissures, Gastro-intestinal atony, Skin diseases, Skin irritations, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Agitation and restlessness in the elderly, Itching.

Risks
Drug should not be given to Paediatrics, and Pregnant Mothers.If prescribing authority justifies the benefits of the drug against the possible damages he/she should reevaluate them and consult the reference material and previous studies.

Warnings
If sign of hypersensitivity reaction occur, discontinue the use of D-pantothenol.
