Ethamsylate

Ethamsylate hemostatic agent (prevents bleeding). Ethamsylate used to control surgical and menstrual blood loss.


Adult Dose
Dose: 1 to 1.5 g
Single Dose: 1.2 (1.25)
Frequency: 24 hourly
Route: PO
Instructions: Should be given two to three days prior to surgery, with an additional 500 to 750 milligrams (mg) several hours_x000D_prior to the procedure.
