Characteristics
belongs to Hydroxypropionic Acid. It belongs to Dermatological Products and Emollient pharmacological group.The Molecular Weight of Lactic Acid is 90.08. It is strongly acidic drug, 2.30% solution of the drug is isotonic.
Contraindications
Lactic Acid is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Lactic Acid are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Vomiting, Erythema, Irritation, Burning, Stinging on application.
Indications
Lactic Acid is primarily indicated in conditions like Pruritus, Skin diseases, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Stomatitis.
