Heparinoid includes derivatives of heparine. Heparin is an anticoagulant (blood thining agent). Heparinoid prevents the blood from clotting. Heparinoid is used to prevent and treat venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Heparinoid is used topically in the treatment of haemorrohoids and joint disorders.
