'Cabergotune is ergot derivatives is a dopamine D2-agonist with action and uses similar to bromocriptine. Cabergoline is used after pregnancy to suppress unwanted breast milk secretion and to facilitate conception when infertility is associated with high prolactin level. It may also be used in parkinson''s disease, prolactin-producing tumors and to adjust various hormone levels in certain diseases (ovarian diseases).'

Effects

Warnings
Cabergoline should be used with caution in patients with medical history, including any allergies (especially drug allergies), liver disease, psychiatric illness, uncontrolled high blood pressure or high blood pressure during pregnancy. Limit alcohol as it may aggravate side effects of this drug. Patients should observe caution while driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. It should be used with caution during pregnancy.
