Terazosin

Terazosin is alpha-adrenergic antagonist and a vasodilator, used to treat hypertension. It relaxes and expands blood vessels and lowers the blood pressure. In males, it may also be used to reduce symptoms of urinary obstruction caused by benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Characteristics

Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Terazosin are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Dyspnea, Blurred vision, Postural hypotension, Asthenia, Nasal congestion, SomnolenceX, Chest pain.
Indications
Terazosin is primarily indicated in conditions like Benign prostatic hyperplasia, Hypertension, Infertility or irregular cycles, Mild to moderate hypertension.
