Characteristics
belongs to Sodium Salt. It belongs to Laxatives pharmacological group on the basis of mechanism of action and also classified in Electrolyte Supplement Oral, Laxative pharmacological group.The Molecular Weight of Sodium Phosphate is 164.00. It is weakly alkaline drug, 3.33% solution of the drug is isotonic.
Contraindications
Sodium Phosphate is contraindicated in conditions like Hypocalcaemia,Hypernatremia,Hyperphosphataemia.
Effects
The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Sodium Phosphate include Effect on hemopoietic system.The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Sodium Phosphate are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Phosphorus intoxication.
Indications
Sodium Phosphate is primarily indicated in conditions like Constipation, Electrolyte disorder, Hypophosphataemia.

Interfrence
Risks
Drug should not be given to Paediatrics, Cardiac / Hypertensive Patients, and patients suffering from Kidney dysfunction.If prescribing authority justifies the benefits of the drug against the possible damages he/she should reevaluate them and consult the reference material and previous studies.
Storage
Syrup, enema, paste Store in a well closed container, at room temperature, Between 15°C-30°C. Protect from Sunlight, Moisture and Heat.
Warnings
Sodium phosphate should be used with caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment, cirrhosis, cardiac failure and other sodium retaining states. Caution must be exercised in the administration of parenteral fluids, especially those containing sodium ions, to patients receiving corticosteroids or corticotropin.
